Beautiful yellow monarch butterfly sharing a bite with a bumblebee.
Pink roses blooming in profusion. This image is our new website icon.
A wasp feeds on a blooming herb.
Closeup of the wasp (or bee, or whatever it is).
Distant shot of a hawk-like bird in our waterfall. Could this be what happened to Brillig, the koi that disappeared from our pond?
Some of our fish, happily active because it's feeding time. The little one in the lower right was a tiny baby when we moved in.
Pretty salmon color rose. This bush doesn't produce as many roses, but they are beautiful.
The pond in the Fall.
We have three or four of these orange butterflies floating through the lantana garden almost every day.
Close-up of this year's baby fish. The calico is named "Vermicious Knid" (Google it) and the black ones swimming below him are all called "the Venoms" since we can't tell them apart. The Venoms and maybe Knid are supposed to turn orange eventually.
Our water hyacinth plant suddenly burst into bloom in early October!
